Learning comment
Using the projector to project images onto the artists face turned out better than we could have hoped. The images did come out to a high quality especially on a white empty background. Because this was tested at Charlotte's house we can only assume that it will be even better used in the photography studio projected onto the professional backdrop. It was extremely helpful having such a high quality projector as it projected the images vividly and clearly onto the background. However, from completing this I have learnt that in order for the projected images to be the highest possible quality, there must be no other light in the room. This means that when we film in the photography studio we must pull the blinds to block out any natural light and turn off all other lights to also block out artificial light from interfering with the images. Another issue was with the wires. Because there are so many wires for the projector we will have to film our video when the class is empty in order to prevent a trip hazard and interference with the projector. Although the projected images from the projector did look smoother filmed on a phone, we feel that its not worth risking the quality of the video for. To conclude we have learnt that using the projector in our video will provide the performance with an interesting twist, however we must be careful that it is accomplished to a high standard and that the appropriate images/graphics are projected.
